Mourning mother Lisa Marie Presley has paid tribute to her late son, Benjamin Keough, on what would have been his 28th birthday.
Presley had fans in tears with the emotional message she wrote. Keough’s girlfriend, Diana Pinto, moved supporters with a series of never-before-seen photos showing the couple during happy times.
Presley took to Instagram, where she unveiled a single picture of her only son sitting in front of a birthday cake with candles lit on it.
Elvis Presley‘s grandson looked like he was reflecting deep when the photo was taken. In her devastating note, Presley said that she misses her son, whom she described as a beautiful angel.
Presley wrote that she has been suffocating since the death of her child. She confessed: “My beautiful, beautiful angel. I worshipped the ground you walked on, on this earth and now in Heaven. My heart and soul went with you.”
She went on to say: “The depth of the pain is suffocating and bottomless without you every moment of every day. I will never be the same. Please wait for me, my love, and hold my hand while I stay to continue to protect and raise your little sisters and to be here for Riley. I know you would want that.”
Presley concluded her heartbreaking tribute by: “Happy Birthday, my sweet, sweet Boy. You were much too good for this world.”
Pinto also remembered her boyfriend of three years with a picture tribute that showed them at baseball games, having fun on the beach, and during romantic dinners.
Pinto captioned her slideshow: “Happy birthday, my love. Not much to say just a really hard day, And isn’t it ironic World Series Tampa Bay v Dodgers this year, I bet you’re getting a kick out of that. I love you.”
A backer of the family penned this uplifting message: “May you and everyone he loves be blanketed by his love today.?Happy birthday sweet Ben Ben. ?”
Another supporter revealed: “He is with your father now. Both are watching over you and your loved ones. Cheering you on with each step. You’re a very brave, strong woman. You can do this. We all are sending you so much love. ?”
A music lover had this prayer for Presley and her family: “Dear Lisa, we are praying for you and your daughters ❤️ I’m so sorry for your loss. Please know that we are thinking of you every day. May God give you the strength to you and your daughters ?? He will always be with you. ❤️”
Keough committed suicide on July 12 at his home in Calabasas, Califonia. Many fans find that Keough resembled the “King of Rock and Roll,” and they were eager for him to spread his talent as an artist.
