This week, actress Jennifer Aniston took to social media to share a post about the importance of voting.
The Friends star also took a swipe at Kim Kardashian‘s husband, Kanye West, while at it.
Aniston shared a few pictures dressed down in a sweatshirt and matching sweatpants as she was dropping her ballot in an official ballot drop box.
She later posted a selfie where she happily showed off her “I Voted” sticker. The Morning Show actress used the caption to encourage her millions of supporters to do their civic duty by voting in the 2020 presidential election.
She wrote: “#IVOTED for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. I dropped my ballot off, and I did it early ?? I voted for them because right now, this country is more divided than ever. Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science… too many people have died.”
She continued by pointing out all the crucial issues that are on the ballot this year.
Aniston concluded by taking a shot at West, who has decided to run for President in the middle of a pandemic that has killed more than 200,000 Americans.
The Hollywood icon wrote: “PS – It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible ??.”
Many fans said that Kardashian would not be pleased about the remark because she is very protective of the rapper who was very sick with the virus yet is playing around with this election.
The reality TV star recently revealed how far she had to go to make sure that West recovered after he was infected with the coronavirus.
Many of his fans were worried about the rapper’s health and what the future holds.
Kardashian opened up about her life during that period and what she had to go through to keep West healthy.
According to Kardashian, part of the problem was that West was infected very early on when the disease was not yet that popular, and it made the situation even more questionable — both for the couple and for the physicians treating West.
Once news of the coronavirus pandemic broke out, it painted West’s situation in an even more worrying light.
She claims that the unknown nature of the whole situation was one of the greatest difficulties she had to face, and it was a challenging time for her and those around her.
She told Grazia magazine it was a “scary” experience and added: “Kanye had its way at the beginning when nobody really knew what was going on. It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no one else in the house to help. It was a challenge because it was so unknown. Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield was really a scary time.”
West was apparently not well at all for some time, constantly shaking in bed, having to take hot showers, and getting chills all over his body.
The hip-hop star was also disappointed by the public attitude towards COVID-19 at the beginning, with some telling him that he should just learn to ignore his condition.
