It is believed that Prince Harry is gearing up for a trip back to England in the upcoming weeks.
Many royal experts predict that Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will be in London in early January 2021 because of a court case involving a media outlet and Thomas Markle.
While the former actress will face her father, Harry is expected to get a verbal shellacking from his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, for a long list of reasons, including his decision to meddle in the 2020 presidential election.
Some royal insiders firmly believe that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have violated the terms of the “Megxit” deal they signed with the Queen after their separation from the royal family in early 2020.
The pair might be forced to have an honest and maybe heated exchange because some British politicians have demanded that Harry lose his title and privileges for some of his eye-popping statements about political affairs and for slamming the Commonwealth for not working hard enough to end racism.
Royal biographer Penny Junor told the Mirror: “Harry and Meghan have burnt some significant bridges that may be beyond repair. Right now, that doesn’t seem to bother them. And I can’t see Meghan ever wanting a way back.”
It is believed that Prince Harry might also have a tough talk with his grandfather, Prince Philip, who is said to be angry and stunned by his decision to step down from his royal duties and flee to California.
Vanity Fair‘s Katie Nicholl said Philip is confused because: “his grandson’s behavior is completely alien to him, so not unnaturally the relationship has suffered. He could neither understand nor relate to Harry’s decision to quit the Royal Family, and he was also deeply upset by the couple’s choice. ”
Ingrid Seward shared her thoughts on the complicated relationship between Harry and his grandfather: “Prince Philip is very, very disappointed by Meghan Markle’s failure to support the monarchy and her husband. I think he’s very, very disappointed because I think he feels he gave up his naval career in order to stand by the Queen and help the monarchy.”
The royal author and reporter went on to say: “And why can’t Meghan just give up her acting career, support her husband and support the monarchy? As he used to say to Diana, this is not a popularity contest; this is all of us working together. He just cannot understand why she couldn’t support Harry and help him rather than wanting to have her voice.”
Seward concluded by: “Of course, it irritates him hugely. And when they had the Sandringham Summit, Prince Philip was seen leaving the house very swiftly before they all arrived. He simply doesn’t want to get involved anymore.”
Things might get tense for Harry while in Europe.
