Adele has started writing a new chapter in her life, and she is not doing it alone. PEOPLE magazine has confirmed that Adele has been dating rapper Skepta for several months.
The publication spoke to a source who revealed that the romance is heating up between the two British artists.
The pop star and the rapper, whose real name is Joseph Junior Adenuga, have been close friends for numerous years, according to the source.
After Adele’s divorce, the friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship. The “Make You Feel My Love” singer and the MC are said to be doing all they can to keep the romance private, but that might be impossible because “in recent months things have been heating up.”
The magazine explained that the love affair between the duo happened organically because “they run in the same circles in London, and she’s having fun.”
Adele and Skepta share several bonds — they have special ties to the neighborhood of Tottenham, London, their passion for music, and they are both parents to young children.
Skepta has a 2-year-old daughter, River, from a previous relationship, while Adele is mom to seven-year-old Angelo Adkins, whom she shares with ex-husband Simon Konecki.
