Keyshia Cole and K. Michelle might be feuding. at least that is what fans on social media believe after a message posted online by the Memphis native.
It all started when Cole wrote on her Instagram Story: “Gotta watch these industry people, some be fake as Fuk!!!!! Fr. And most have a agenda (sic). I’m actually happy to hit my 40’s soon… I can see the sht clear as day now… Inhale, Exhale.”
Less than two hours later, Michelle posted: “But you the fakest one. I laugh.” Observers are adamant, Michelle was addressing the Oakland talent.
Cole and Michelle always had a complicated relationship. In 2012, the two divas were shading each other on Twitter before making peace after a pleasant phone call.
At the time, Michelle was embroiled in a feud with Toya Wright over her ex, MeMpHiTz, born Mickey Wright Jr. In 2014, the two artists grew closer and went on tour together.
Over the years, things had looked pretty okay between the talented vocalists. They even had a concert in Atlanta in 2019.
However, earlier this year, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood stars Paris Phillips and Zellswag made some surprising revelations while appearing on Fox Soul’s series One on One with Keyshia Cole.
The two friends do not like Michelle and accused her of being obsessed with Cole. The “Heaven Sent” singer was surprised to hear this and asked for more information.
Zellswag said that Michelle usually goes for the “same type of stylist” and “same type of music” as Cole. Phillips added that Michelle tried to become her friend when she found out she knew Cole.
When the interview went viral, social media sided with Michelle, and many said that she did not deserve to be put on blast this way.
However, with the latest subtweeting that took place on Sunday, opinions have changed, and many observers say that the two women have too much in common to be fighting.
One music fan reacted to the latest development with: “Now K Michelle… DONT YOU START CRYING TO US ABOUT PEOPLE NOT LIKING YOU. ?? This is why girl…”
“K. Michelle girl, weren’t you just talking about how negativity always seems to find you? Smh,” a second person wrote.
An angry critic pointed out in harsh terms: “They’re both washed up… THIS IS THE MOST POINTLESS BEEF EVER, arguing who’s the most irrelevant and went broke quicker?”
Cole has not responded, but Michelle’s move is getting a lot of attention.
