According to the latest revelation made by a serious source to PEOPLE, it seems that Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West are heading to divorce court.
Saturday, a bombshell report surfaced claiming that Kardashian and West’s marriage is more or less standing on one leg after going through a few hectic months.
The person familiar with the situation revealed that the reality TV star and the controversial rapper lead very separate lives.
The source explained that the power couple does not have much in common other than their four children — North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm West.
The insider claimed that they “very much live separate lives” currently and added: “Kim has work and projects that are important to her, and Kanye has his. Their lives don’t overlap much. She strongly believes she can make a change when it comes to prison reform.”
It appears that Kardashian now resides in California with her children, where she is working on several projects with Hulu. While the MC is in Wyoming, designing shoes and producing gospel music.
The Instagram influencer is also hard at work on prison reform and attempted in vain to halt the execution of Brandon Bernard.
Bernard claimed that he was not innocent, but was not involved in the planning that led to the slaying of a religious couple from Iowa that took place over 20 years ago.
Kardashian spoke to the convicted murderer hours before he was killed via a lethal injection of phenobarbital at a prison in Terre Haute, Indiana.
The fashion designer cried after she failed to convince President Donald Trump and the US District Court of the Southern District of Indiana to spare Bernard’s life.
Fans had assumed that the West\Kardashian duo had weathered the very public storm that took place over the summer when West was running for president.
West had several meltdowns where he shared the family’s dirty laundry — he spoke about the abortion that almost took place, the divorce he wanted, and stated that his wife was part of the KKK.
After being humiliated, she reconciled with her husband, who apologized. Kardashian had this to say about West’s unstable mental state: “As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health. But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health. Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware of far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have [sic] to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.”
It seems that Kardashian is now more interested in her own mental wellbeing.
