Ariana Grande announced her engagement to Dalton Gomez on Sunday in an Instagram post that contained a few pictures of her gorgeous engagement ring, and it seems their families could not be more pleased with the news.
The pair began dating in January 2020 and have spent most of the year quarantining together — with real estate agent Gomez appearing in the music video for “Stuck With U,” the hit single by Grande and Justin Bieber released in May 2020.

Other celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, also showed their support and congratulations on social media for the newly-engaged couple, as well as thousands of Grande’s fans who are thrilled to hear the news.
Many fans got emotional upon realizing that Gomez used a pearl that her grandparents once owned to create Grande’s special and unique engagement ring.
A source close to Grande and Gomez says that the couple is very happy and excited, and the parents on both sides are delighted with the announcement.
Fans first noticed Gomez appearing in Grande’s Instagram stories in April, with a video of them hugging and kissing confirming the romance the following month. Grande posted on Instagram to confirm their relationship in June.
Gomez was also seen helping Grande film video clips for “Rain On Me,” a hit single by Lady Gaga and Grande, and was later spotted celebrating his birthday and sharing more kisses with his new girlfriend.
The petite diva was briefly engaged to comedian Pete Davidson in 2018 and dedicated a song titled “Pete Davidson” to him on her album Sweetener in the same year.
Before dating Davidson, Grande also dated the late rapper, Mac Miller, for two years between 2016 and 2018.
