It has been confirmed that Lily James, 31, will portray Pamela Anderson alongside Sebastian Stan in the role of Tommy Lee in a new Hulu TV series that will focus on the story of their turbulent romance for the small screen.
The Baywatch star and the famous drummer shocked the world back in 1995 when they tied the knot after being acquainted for only four days.
In addition, a very private video that was taken shortly after their marriage was leaked online and showed intimate moments of their relationship without the permission of the couple.
Following the incident, Pamela Anderson even filed a lawsuit against Internet Entertaining Group for distribution of the footage.
However, the sex tape scandal was not the only controversy surrounding Anderson and her partner, as back in 2002, she announced that she suffered from hepatitis C.
The blonde bombshell contracted the disease by getting a tattoo with the same needle used on Lee. It took 13 years for Anderson to be healthy again, as in 2015, she shared a picture on Instagram titled “I am CURED!!!! I just found out no more hep C.”
Anderson’s many marriages, divorces, and wild romances will be a central part of the project. The Canadian-born TV personality and Lee wed after knowing each other just 96 hours in 1995, and they divorced in 1998.
She was engaged to model Marcus Schenkenberg — their romance died out in 2001.
She married and divorced Kid Rock in 2006. In 2007, Anderson wed film producer Rick Salomon, and they split a year later.
They remarried at an unknown date and got divorced in 2015. And in January 2020, the model tied the knot with movie mogul Jon Peters. They divorced 12 days later.
It appears that the famous actress’s life is anything but peaceful, as, throughout the years, she was involved in a number of controversial advertisements, and in 2018, she surprised many with her views on the #MeToo movement.
Back then, Pamela described the movement as “third-wave feminism” and claimed that it “paralyzes men.” She stated: “I think that this Me Too movement is a bit too much for me. I’m sorry, I’ll probably get killed for saying that, but my mother taught me, don’t go to a hotel with a stranger. I think this feminism can go too far. I’m a feminist, but I think that this third wave of feminism is a bore. I think it paralyzes men.”
She has angered many by wearing nothing in controversial ads for PETA and Crazydomains.co.uk.
