Alexandra Burke has shared a collection of snaps on Instagram, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at a new fashion shoot.
The 32-year-old X Factor winner shared the images on Monday night, alongside two videos showing her stylists prepping her hair and makeup for the shoot.
The photos show Burke modeling a bright yellow jacket and trousers over a revealing black bralette as she stands in front of a purple curtain and is surrounded by several pairs of heels in different colors and styles.
Other images show her wearing a tan-colored dress with a checked pattern, styled with stiletto heels in a similar shade. The dress has a high split up her left thigh, showing off her toned legs as she poses next to a full-length mirror.
One fan praised her natural beauty by saying: “Beautiful inside and out. We are of god, sis… that’s why all the heathens who tell us cut our hair or lighten our skin are angered by our appearance because it shows the god in us n they can’t stand it.”
Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Burke had split from her boyfriend, Angus MacDonald, a footballer who currently plays for Rotherham United.
The pair had confirmed their relationship in July 2019, just a month before MacDonald was diagnosed with bowel cancer.
His then-girlfriend Burke helped him through the bad news and hospital treatment, which involved having his entire bowel removed. Last Christmas, he received the positive news that he was free from cancer.
In a previous interview, the football praised Burke for her support through a difficult period when he initially received the diagnosis.
He shared: “The first person I told was one of my best friends. It was a very emotional phone call – I don’t think I’ve ever cried to my friends before. I couldn’t get my words out. I had the weekend with Alex, and she knew something wasn’t right. On the Saturday night, I broke down and told her the news. I would have rather have dealt with it alone, and I didn’t want to upset anyone, but she was reassuring. I don’t know what I would have done without her support.”
Since their split in October, Burke has removed all photos and videos of her ex-boyfriend from Instagram, although insiders claim the couple split on good terms and have remained friends.
Deleting all the content from their relationship was necessary to help them move on and go their separate ways, insiders have shared.
At the time of their breakup, friends claimed that their busy careers and the coronavirus lockdowns were the reasons behind their split.
