A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have been friends for many years, and they have decided to take their relationship to the next level.
This week, the music stars made their burgeoning romance official with a few steamy photos that have surfaced online. The couple is currently vacationing in Rihanna’s native Barbados.
Photos that leaked online showed the rapper and the Fenty beauty and fashion mogul having the time of their lives on a jet ski, boat trips, and dinner dates with a few family members.
The pair happily showed lots of passion and heavy PDA on their chartered catamaran. Rihanna wore a skimpy green dress that left little to the imagination as she held on tight to the MC while on a fun-filled boat trip.
Before engaging in a romantic relationship, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were close pals, for she was dating billionaire heir Hassan Jameel.
A$AP Rocky opened Rihanna’s U.S. dates of her Diamonds World Tour in 2013. A$AP Rocky was also featured on her hit song “Cockiness.” The duo appeared cozy at the Louis Vuitton fashion show in Paris back in 2018.
Rihanna recently made headlines after legendary rapper Eminem surprised his fans by releasing the deluxe edition of his new album, Music to Be Murdered By – Side B.
The new music compilation includes sixteen new songs, for which the 48-year-old lyricist collaborated with other famous musicians such as Skylar Grey, DJ Premier, Ty Dolla Sign, and Dr. Dre.
However, Eminem’s fans were impressed not only by his new music but also by the fact that in one of the tracks, “Zeus,” the rapper asked for Rihanna’s forgiveness.
The new track reportedly referenced an old mistake made by the music star as he rapped, “But, me long as I re-promise, to be honest, / And wholeheartedly, apologies, Rihanna” and continued by “For that song that leaked, I’m sorry Ri / It wasn’t meant to cause you grief.”
Apparently, Eminem was rapping about backing Chris Brown after he had assaulted then-girlfriend, Rihanna, but the track was consequently leaked to the public.
Brown and Rihanna were involved in a turbulent relationship, which resulted in him beating her in 2009.
Back at the time, Dennis Dennehy, one of Eminem’s representatives, addressed the security breach with the statement, “This is a leak of something that’s over 10 years old. After Eminem recorded it, he scrapped it and rewrote it. Obviously, he and Rihanna have a great relationship.”
Besides, the rapper and Rihanna created a couple of songs together, one of which is the famous track, “Love the Way You Lie.”
