Zara Tindall Pregnant Appears In Photo As She Competes Against Husband Mike Tindall

Zara Tindall Competes Against Husband Mike In Photo While Pregnant

Zara Tindall has been seen in photos for the first time since it was announced that she and husband Mike Tindall are expecting another royal baby.

Posted to Mike Tindall’s Instagram account on Tuesday, the photo showed him and his wife standing together and wearing scarves over their faces to support a Motor Neurone Disease charity.

39-year-old Zara Tindall — the daughter of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips — wore a red scarf branded with the charity name, “My Name’5 Doddie Foundation,” while Mike Tindall wore the same in blue.

The charity was founded by Doddie Weir OBE, one of Scotland’s most successful rugby players who revealed in 2017 he was suffering from Motor Neurone Disease.

The former athlete used the caption to say he is competing against his pregnant wife.

He wrote: “Not the best way to start 2021 going into competition with my better half, especially a pregnant one, but sometimes it has to be done for great causes. Please get involved with @myname5doddie @doddiegump but make sure you chose the right team! #scottishexiles great way to get in shape through January while helping a fantastic cause!!! #countdownison!”

Earlier in December, the Tindall’s pregnancy was announced through Mike Tindall’s rugby podcast, where he told listeners the couple were expecting a third child.

He also revealed that he would like the new baby to be a boy since the couple already shares two daughters — 6-year-old Mia Grace and 2-year-old Lena Elizabeth — but clarified he would be happy no matter what the sex of the baby.

When the announcement was made a few weeks ago, the Queen and Prince Philip shared their “delight” at the news, and an insider source confirmed Zara Tindall was four months pregnant.

In the comments of Mike Tindall’s Instagram posts, fans of the royal couple offered their congratulations to the pair.

They were described as a “dynamic duo” and praised for their support of charity work. In 2018, Zara Tindall openly spoke about her two miscarriages, which happened after the birth of her first daughter, Mia Grace, in 2014.

At the time, she was the first member of the royal family to speak about miscarriage.

Mike Tindall said in his podcast that he and Zara are being careful to avoid any complications with the pregnancy.

The pair holds an interesting spot in the royal family. While quite popular, the duo is not well known compared to some other members and therefore attracts less negativity in the media.
