Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles might be the latest superstar couple on the scene, as a source reports they have been dating for a few weeks already.
26-year-old Styles and 36-year-old Wilde were pictured over the weekend attending a wedding together in Montecito, California, where they openly held hands and behaved “affectionately” in front of the other guests, according to a person in the know.
Styles donned a black suit and a white shirt for the wedding of his manager, Jeffrey Azoff and Apple Music executive Glenne Christiaansen, while Wilde was wearing a floor-length dress.
They were seen wearing face masks during the day. Later on, the couple was spotted arriving at Harry Styles’s home in Los Angeles.
Olivia Wilde split from actor Jason Sudeikis at the beginning of last year, having been together since 2011 and sharing two children — 6-year-old Otis and 4-year-old Daisy.
And according to E!, Sudeikis was aware of the romance. A source told the publication: “So it’s not like she’s rushing into something [with Harry]. Olivia and Jason talk all the time and are still close because of the kids. It’s highly unlikely he was blind-sided by this news.”
Wilde and Styles met on the set of Don’t Worry Darling, a psychological thriller directed by Wilde, which was filmed around Los Angeles during the second half of 2020.
Styles was cast as the husband of Alice — played by Florence Pugh — a 1950s housewife living in an isolated community in California while her husband harbors a dark secret.
While filming, Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde have been secretly staying at James Corden‘s home.
An insider told Page Six: “This relationship between Harry and Olivia is very new. Olivia has been directing Harry in the movie in Palm Springs, and there were literally ten people on the set because they were strictly adhering to COVID rules.”
The person added: “Harry had been staying at James Corden’s house near Palm Springs during filming, and so they were able to be alone and keep their relationship very secret. So everyone was really surprised — and rather delighted — when Harry brought Olivia as his date to the wedding and introduced her as his girlfriend.”
In an interview last year, Wilde praised Styles for his “enthusiasm” for fashion and style, which she considered an important element of the upcoming movie.
Describing the film as “incredibly stylistic,” Wilde shared her excitement at having Styles’s involvement with the project and welcomed his “confidence.”
