Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas have split after nearly a year of dating each other, but sources close to the couple do not believe they are really done with the relationship just yet.
The two actors, who met on the set of Deep Water in 2020, have become divided over whether they will have children together and called it quits.
48-year-old Ben Affleck already has three children from his marriage to Jennifer Garner — 14-year-old Violet, 11-year-old Seraphina, and 8-year-old Samuel — and a source has revealed he would not commit to having any more in the future.
However, 32-year-old Ana de Armas has no children, and according to the source, this is a “deal-breaker” for her.
It was confirmed on Monday that the couple had ended their romance, but their friends believe they could reconcile their differences and get back together.
They are thought to have split amicably, with those close to them convinced they are still “in love.”
Another source reported that Affleck and de Armas are in “different places” at the moment and that Affleck does not feel in the right place to start another family. His family continues to be his main focus, despite his busy career.
An insider claimed: “Ben is not in a place to start a new family. Both he and Ana have three jobs lined up. His family has and will continue to be his focus. They could get back together. They are in love. People who know them believe it’s temporary.”
Some fans doubt that the pair will be able to fix their broken romance after photos showed that a massive life-sized cardboard cutout of Ana de Armas was dumped in the trash in front of Ben Affleck’s California mansion.
It seems that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star has turned the chapter. Reports that Affleck and de Armas were dating began circulating when they were seen on a trip together to Havana last March. Since then, the pair have been spotted in LA on numerous occasions together.

Ana de Armas currently has her home in California up for sale and is looking for a rental property in West Hollywood.
She had spent the majority of last year quarantining with Affleck but sparked rumors of their split when she left his mansion to stay with her family.
Sources believe that the actor is unlikely to change his mind on the thorny issue of having more children.
