Madison LeCroy has responded to the rumors that she has had an affair with Alex Rodriguez, telling a news outlet that she has “never seen him or touched him.”
The rumors were made public after a Southern Charm reunion show was aired, prompting Madison LeCroy to respond on Wednesday to shut down the claims.
Alex Rodriguez — a former Major League Baseball player — is engaged to pop star Jennifer Lopez and has not responded to the claims as yet, although sources close to him have said that he has never met Madison LeCroy.
According to LeCroy, the pair have spoken on the phone after Rodriguez contacted her on Instagram.
She insisted, however, that the conversations between them were “random” and inconsistent, and totally “innocent.” She described the ex-MBL player as an “acquaintance.”
On the reunion show of the reality TV series, moderator Andy Cohen said the name of a “very famous married ex-MLB player” when speaking about a rumor surrounding LeCroy, but the name was blocked out so nobody could hear.
LeCroy later claimed it was Alex Rodriguez who had been mentioned, but she had insisted at the time that the production team did not use it when airing the final cut of the show.
Another co-star, Craig Conover, claimed that Madison LeCroy had traveled to Miami to meet up with Alex Rodriguez.
LeCroy denied this, saying they had sent private messages on Instagram and had spoken on the phone but had never met each other.
Addressing the rumors, she said that she told the wrong person she had spoken to Rodriguez, leading to the story being spread around her social circles and then into the public eye.
Madison LeCroy confessed: “He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me…I talked to him randomly, but not consistent..the calls were innocent.”
The distraught woman went on to explain: “I don’t know what to do. I have tried to be as quiet as possible. I don’t want anything bad for his family or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.”
She concluded by: “All this stuff was a year ago [but] it’s being aired now.”
LeCroy also expressed that she did not want “anything bad” for Alex Rodriguez and his family — or her own family.
Lopez and Rodriguez are not in a rush to get married, and the Hustlers star said that after going through the pandemic, it might no longer be a priority for them.
