Gwen Stefani has shared a photo to her Instagram account, sporting a very different look to the one her fans have grown used to seeing over the years.
Generally seen with long blonde hair, 51-year-old Gwen Stefani shared an image on Sunday from a photoshoot, where she poses in a massive lilac dress and shows off a black bob with bangs.
The singer and TV personality has recently appeared on the cover of Wonderland magazine. She took part in a fashion photoshoot, including the most recent picture posted on social media.
The dress worn by Gwen Stefani has many large lilac ruffles on the skirt, coupled with a sheer top.
Blake Shelton‘s future wife is standing below a large chandelier, styled with dramatic eye makeup and red lipstick, with one hand on her hip.
She wore black nail polish and several bangles on her wrist as a stylist fastened the back of her dress.
Gwen Stefani captioned the image by saying she felt like “this emoji” but “with a better outfit,” adding a dark-haired woman emoji to show fans what she meant.
During her interview with Wonderland magazine, Gwen Stefani spoke about her upcoming album, which features “Let Me Reintroduce Myself,” although the album itself does not yet have a title.
She shared with her fans that this time she felt a “calling” to write the new music, rather than being “in pain’ like previous albums she has released.
She confessed, “That’s what makes this next record so special…,” she reflected. “I didn’t have to do it because I wasn’t in pain. I Had to do it because there was just a calling to do it.”
And her latest picture — described by her 11 million followers as “jaw-dropping” and “gorgeous” — was shared to her Instagram Story.
One backer stated: “Don’t think Blake can really handle all of this”
A music lover waiting for the album added: “This entire photoshoot is amazing! ??? @nicolaformichetti did an amazing job with the styling. Can’t wait for the album.”
Last Thursday, Gwen Stefani posted on Instagram to share the cover of the magazine.
In the playful cover photo, the singer holds a gold necklace — spelling “Stefani” — close to her mouth, and her first name, “Gwen,” is spelled out in hearts down one side.
The music superstar is hoping for a major solo comeback in a musical landscape that has changed a lot.
