Bethenny Frankel has spent time on the beach in Florida with her only daughter, Bryn, while wearing a multi-million dollar diamond ring just weeks after her divorce from ex-husband Jason Hoppy was finalized.
The 50-year-old reality TV star has reportedly gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Paul Bernan, who she has been dating since 2018.
She was seen on Boca Raton beach in the Sunshine State this week wearing a diamond engagement ring believed to be worth $3 million.
Wearing a gorgeous blue bikini and a straw hat, Bethenny Frankel seemed to be enjoying her day at the beach with her 10-year-old daughter, Bryn, whom she shares with Jason Hoppy, 50.
The news comes just weeks after a judge finalized the lengthy divorce battle between Frankel and Hoppy in January this year after being legally married since 2010.
Although they reached a financial settlement almost five years ago, the estranged couple could not secure custody agreements for their only child, Bryn.
The bitter divorce battle, which lasted eight years, included allegations in 2017 that Jason Hoppy had been harassing and stalking his estranged wife.
And the mother and daughter seemed to be spending some alone time together, as Bethenny’s reported fiancé, Paul Bernan, was nowhere to be seen.
The Real Housewives of New York City star paddled in the ocean, displaying her toned body as she went knee-deep in the water while wearing her lavish ring, plus a pair of silver earrings and a bangle.
She was also seen later relaxing on the sand with her daughter.
Last Thursday, Bethenny Frankel posted to her 2.2 million Instagram followers, sharing a photo of herself standing on a beach wearing a pink floral swimsuit with a deep plunging neckline that revealed a lot of cleavage.
She completed that sexy beach look with a straw hat and a pair of sunglasses from her own glasses collection.
Many of her followers praised the reality TV star turned businesswoman, including Paris Hilton, but a few critics decided to body-shame her.
One person shared this remark: “I love you, Bethenny…..but this look is awful. To me, this is someone trying too hard, and you really don’t need to try so hard. For me, this is a fail.”
Bethenny Frankel is also getting slammed by her Real Housewives of New York co-stars, who found her decision to share her engagement ring in a series of bikini photos as the trailer for the series drops very petty.
A reliable source told Page Six: “They’re all confused why she’s still obsessed with RHONY and would orchestrate her engagement news to come out at the same time.”
The insider went on to explain: “Bethenny is just being her petty self, but she can’t take away the cast’s happiness or how hard they worked this season during the coronavirus pandemic.”
Fans of the show believe that Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps are the ones going after Bethenny.
