Kristen Bell posted on Instagram a series of throwback travel photos, wishing her best friend and fashion stylist, Nicole Chavez, a happy birthday, including a rare bikini photo.
Clearly missing life before the pandemic, the 40-year-old actress shared a handful of photos in different countries, with several friends, including her stylist, Nicole Chavez.
Captioning the post with a touching birthday tribute, the Good Place actress said Nicole was responsible for “every lewk” she has had on the red carpet.
The first photo was a snap of Kristen and Nicole sitting on a bus, wearing bikinis. Nicole was smiling widely and held a straw hat on her lap, while Kristen looked relaxed but had a more serious look on her face.
Kristen Bell gave a glimpse of her fit body by wearing a multi-colored halter neck bikini while looking at the camera.
Other photos showed the two friends joined by actress Rachel Bilson standing in front of a waterfall and other friends laughing and joining them for group pictures.
Continuing with her best friend’s birthday message, Kristen Bell described Nicole Chavez as a “devastatingly talented stylist” and went on to give a few details about her life.
She said that they had both traveled to nine different countries together.
She claimed her “goofy and kind” friend had once tried to tip her over while using a port-a-potty, but nonetheless said she “learns so much” from Nicole and is thrilled she is her best friend.
The sweet note read in full: “@nicolechavezstyle has been responsible for every LEWK I’ve ever had on a red carpet. She’s a devastatingly talented stylist. We have traveled to 9 countries together. She’s goofy and kind and loyal and elegant. She once tried to tip me over while I was using a port-a-potty. I love you, Nicole, and I learn so much from you. Nicole Chavez replied to say she was “now officially crying” and that she loved Kristen too, while Rachel Bilson commented on the post to say she could “still picture [Kristen’s] little face” after the port-a-potty incident.
Kristen Bell, who is married to Dax Shepard, has spoken recently about the challenges of parenting during the coronavirus pandemic and trying to balance her work life while looking after her two children — Lincoln, 7, and Delta, 6.
The couple has a large following on social media.
