Jennifer Lawrence was seen again in New York, this time without her husband after the couple were both spotted over the weekend together looking serious.
The 30-year-old actress was wearing a short-sleeved green shirt dress on Tuesday when she was photographed walking down a street in New York without her husband of 18 months, Cooke Maroney.
Behind dark sunglasses and with her blonde hair tied back and a black mask covering most of her face amid the coronavirus pandemic, Jennifer Lawrence was still recognizable to fans despite having not been spotted in public more than once in the last six months.
The Hunger Games star carried a Christian Dior bag in peach color and accessorized with a few necklaces, creating a very stylish look that many of her adoring fans loved.
Just three days earlier, she was seen alongside her husband, Cooke Maroney, 36, who put one arm around her as they walked together in the city during the evening.
He wore a thick black coat while Jennifer Lawrence wore a long patterned jacket to ward off the evening chill.
The pair married in October 2019, after they were introduced to each other the previous year by a mutual friend.
They were last seen together in public last October, just days before their wedding anniversary on the 19th of the same month.
Their lavish wedding took place in Rhode Island with guests including actresses Emma Stone and Cameron Diaz and singer Adele.
After getting engaged to Maroney in early 2019, Jennifer Lawrence spoke about her then-fiancé during an interview, describing him as the “greatest person” she had ever met.
She labeled him the “best person” and said her acceptance of his marriage proposal had been a “very, very easy decision to make.”
Lawrence said she was “very honored” to be joining his family and “becoming a Maroney.”
She confessed to Entertainment Tonight: “Well, he’s just the best person I’ve ever met in my whole life. It was a very, very easy decision. He really is, and he gets better,’ the actress went on. ‘I don’t know, and I started with the basics.”
The Oscar winner added: “How do I feel? Is he nice? Is, and I kind?” It’s just — this is the one, I know that sounds really stupid, but he’s just, he’s — you know. He’s the greatest person I’ve ever met, so I feel very honored to become a Maroney.”
The actress seems calmer.
