Kim Kardashian went completely blonde on Thursday before quickly reverting back to her signature dark look.
This week, the 40-year-old reality TV star shared some videos and photos to her Instagram Stories, first showing a clip of herself sitting down for a brow treatment with the product on both her eyebrows.
Kim Kardashian then posted a video where her eyebrows were almost invisible as they were so light from the bleaching process. However, her hair remained dark.
She told her 217 million followers that she could not wait to show them “the final look” and said that she was “into…[her] bleached brows” and thought it was “really cute.”
Not long after, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star revealed a completely new look, sporting wavy blond hair to match her recently-bleached eyebrows.
However, as fans took to social media to question whether her new look was permanent, she quickly posted another snap wearing a sheer nude top, with her hair back to its usual color.
Kim captioned the post telling her followers she was “back to dark already” and reassuring them, “don’t worry.”
Fans rushed to social media to let Kim Kardashian know that they disapprove of the look.
One follower had this to say about the shocking move: “I don’t like it, but it’s fashion I guess. ?”
This social media user shared this reaction: “I don’t like that final look at all. I hope it’s not for a magazine shoot because I always prefer Kim’s more natural magazine shoots.”
Another person explained why they do not like the bleached look: “It’s a No. It makes her look old.”

And the same day she showed off her blond look, Kim also shared two photos to her Instagram feed, wearing a striking green and grey floor-length dress with cut-out detail.
The dress accentuated her curves and showed off part of her toned midriff as she stood barefoot in a large walk-in closet surrounded by clothes and shoes.
