Lady Gaga has been raking in the Likes on Instagram after sharing two new photos while tanning and wearing a tie-dye bikini, days after joining the cast of Friends for a reunion special.
Lying down in the backyard of her home in Malibu, Lady Gaga, 35, looked relaxed as she posed for the camera in front of a stunning backdrop of blue sky, sea, and greenery.
She shared with her Instagram following of almost 48 million followers. She captioned the post with just a mermaid emoji and racked up nearly three million Likes in less than 24 hours.
The “Born This Way” hitmaker lied on her side and crossed her legs for the snaps, revealing her toned figure and several body tattoos.
The first picture showed Lady Gaga looking to one side, revealing a seemingly makeup-free face.
While in the second photo, she looked up toward the sun, held her hair away from her face, and gave a stunning view of her amazingly fit booty.
She was recently granted a key to West Hollywood by city mayor Lindsey Horvath, who praised the singer for “encouraging us to love ourselves and to be proud.”
Furthermore, on May 23rd, it was declared to be “Born This Way Day,” paying homage to Lady Gaga’s hit single, which marks its 10th anniversary this year.
She attended the unveiling of a painting outside LA’s iconic gay bar The Abbey, which showed the title of her song “Born This Way” painted in different colors on Robertson Boulevard.
And on Thursday, Lady Gaga made a cameo appearance on the reunion of Friends, which airs on HBO Max.
Speaking to Variety, director Ben Winston explained why he picked Lady Gaga as the special musical guest.
Winston said: “I said to Lisa, “Would you be prepared to sing it?” And she was like, “Yeah, that would be fun.”‘
He added: “We went through a few names, and we both agreed that Gaga if we could get her, would be the ultimate one because she associates with and feels close to Phoebe in so many ways, as Gaga says on the show. That was a really beautiful moment. And Lady Gaga jumped at the chance to do it.”
She performed the hilarious and iconic song “Smelly Cat” from the original series of the TV show, which Phoebe Buffay — played by Lisa Kudrow — made famous after several performances.
