Princess Eugenie‘s relationship with Prince Charles is about to take a turn for the worse, as the 31-year-old royal was reportedly cut off from the British Royal Family.
According to some royal experts, Prince Charles was convinced that the number of working senior royals should decrease to “tighten the purse strings” of the royal income.
Many royal commentators claimed that since Princess Eugenie was not among the circle of senior royals, she was not allowed any income from the Privy Purse, despite being the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and 10th in line to the throne.
In addition, the relationship between the princess and her uncle has reportedly been described as “awkward,” and some controversial exchanges between them were photographed last year.
Apparently, the unusual moment occurred in December, during a public appearance of Queen Elizabeth II.
Royal expert Christine-Marie Liwag Dixon had this to say about Prince Charles and his niece: “It was the awkward moment not caught on camera that did the talking. Prince Charles is reportedly tightening the purse strings. The heir to the British throne is being very picky about who is ‘in’ and who is ‘out’ in the Royal Family. And as the royal circle is getting smaller, Princess Eugenie is not considered a senior royal.”
She added: “It was one of the very rare public appearances of Queen Elizabeth that year due to the coronavirus pandemic. Royal Family members were present with choice few excluded — Eugenie being one of them. That doesn’t bode well for her chances of rejoining the inner circle.”

The new mom has been delighting fans with pictures of her newborn son, August. The royal shared the adorable photographs on social media to mark the birthday of her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
One of the snaps showed the proud father holding his baby boy while Princess Eugenie is smiling happily next to them.
The granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II posted the pictures on Instagram and titled her post with “Happy Birthday to this new Dad” in combination with two heart emojis.
The photographs turned out to be an instant success and were quickly liked by thousands of followers, and many rushed to the comment section to express their well wishes.
Princess Eugenie made many smile when she posted a video of her son cooing while playing with a stuffed animal shark.
August’s beautiful brownish-red hair is also visible in the video.
She captioned the video: “It’s World Oceans Day today, a day to celebrate our magnificent oceans and all the creates in it,” Eugenie captioned the post. “A day to raise awareness for something so integral to all our lives, and a day to snuggle with fluffy sharks.”
Observers say that Prince Charles is working hard to “modernize” the royal family.
