Princess Anne has been making one stylish appearance after another. This week, Princess Anne wore a lovely whitish-blue suit as she accompanied her mother, Queen Elizabeth II, during her annual Royal Week in Scotland.
Princess Anne and the Queen, in a bright blue and matching hat, met and spoke with children and staff members, beekeepers of the Children’s Wood charity.
Princess Anne stepped out for a glamorous event on Wednesday with her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.
Wearing an elegant red dress with a floral design, Princess Royal, 70, was photographed leaving department store Fortnum & Mason, where she attended a black-tie event with her spouse, Tim Laurence, 66.
She covered her face with a mask in line with coronavirus guidelines and accessorized with a stylish pearl necklace.
The couple lives together in Gloucestershire and are not often seen at public engagements but were spotted together carrying Fortnum & Mason bags as they left the event.
It has been a matter of weeks since Princess Anne welcomed her fifth grandchild when daughter Zara Tindall gave birth to her third child, a son named Lucas.
Her husband, Mike Tindall, a former rugby player, announced the news via his podcast. However, the same day, Princess Anne stepped out for a glam event this week, it was a “sad day” for her son, Peter Phillips, and his estranged wife, Autumn Phillips, as they issued an announcement about their divorce proceedings.
A spokesman said that Peter and Autumn were “pleased” to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved.
They have agreed on the terms approved and ordered by the High Court on Wednesday, the spokesman said. The couple split in 2019 and announced it officially in February 2020 — a decision that was reported to be “sad but amicable” at the time.
And the most recent statement indicates that not much has changed in that regard, with “matters [being] resolved amicably” and with their daughters — Savannah and Isla — firmly at the forefront of those discussions.
They asked for “privacy and consideration” for their children and the family who will be “adapt[ing] to a new chapter.”
The spokesman said: “Mr. Peter Phillips and Mrs. Autumn Phillips are pleased to be able to report that the financial aspects of their divorce have been resolved through agreement, the terms of which have been approved and ordered by the High Court today.”
Observers say that Princess Anne was able to escape scrutiny after the Prince Harry interview with Oprah Winfrey earlier this year.
