Kanye West, who sparked rumors that he and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, are heading to a reconciliation once more, has tongues wagging after several reliable media outlets confirmed that he had ended his brief romance with model Irina Shayk.
Just weeks after Kanye West and Kim Kardashian announced their divorce, he had jumped in the dating pool. The artist turned fashion mogul rapidly confirmed that he was dating bombshell model Irina Shayk.
West and Shayk were seen arriving in France via a private jet and looked very comfortable with each other as they walked around the airport.
Despite looking happy and in love, the romance seems to have hit a roadblock because several rumors started swirling, claiming that they had split.
A source close to the Russian model stepped out to deny the reports and revealed that she was ready to sue over the fake claims.
The insider said at the time that Irina Shayk was upset and added: “They are very much still dating, and they were just together for the 4th of July weekend in San Francisco where he’s working right now. Irina is so upset at the lies about her and Kanye, and she was moved to take legal action to set the record straight.”
However, this week, another insider confirmed that West has decided to end the relationship adding that it was never that “serious between them.”
The source also said that Mr. West has been hard at work on his DONDA album and does not want to date at the moment.
The family friend revealed to PEOPLE: “Kanye has been busy working and spending time with his kids. This is his focus. He doesn’t have time to date right now. He finds Irina amazing though. They remain friendly.”
The news of the split comes just days after Kim Kardashian shocked fans by going to lunch in Malibu with Kanye West without their children.
Since their divorce, Kardashian and West have been spotted on several occasions but always with their four children.
The reality TV star and her children in matching outfits all attended DONDA‘s two release album parties in Atlanta.
Kim Kardashian has proved that despite her and Kanye West’s impending divorce, the pair have remained on good terms.
The SKIMS founder, 40, further sparked chatter that she and West are getting back together on Saturday by sharing a picture taken from her car.
Kardashian revealed to her millions of followers that she was listening to Kanye West’s much-anticipated album. And this week, she wore a wedding dress at one of his events for the DONDA album.
