In one photo, Kardashian looked radiant as she walked up to a smiling West in their mock wedding renewal.

The unconventional artist had other shocking cameos for the millions of fans who streamed the event. The rapper and fashion designer caused an uproar when he stepped on stage with disgraced rocker Marilyn Manson and controversial hip-hop talent DaBaby.
DaBaby is caught in a prolonged controversy after he made homophobic comments during a recent concert. As for Marilyn Manson, he has been named in four sexual assault cases.

Reliable sources close to Kardashian spoke to PEOPLE and explained that she took part in the eye-popping concert because she made a promise to the father of her four children to be present for him when he needs her.
A Kardashian backer said that she was not aware that Marilyn Manson and DaBaby would be there.
West made sure that the SKIMS founder could not see who he was bringing on stage. The insider claimed: “She was seated inside a suite facing the back of the house on the stage so she would not have been able to see them at all from her vantage point. She wasn’t in the loop at all about what was happening at the show. She was only aware of what Kanye had asked her to do, and she was willing to help him.”
Kanye West did not speak to Kim Kardashian about the polemical cameo he had planned for the concert, according to the source who talked to the publication.
The insider shared: “She wasn’t clued in on everything that was going to happen at the event, but a lot of it took her by surprise.”
A second source revealed: “Kim is the first one to support his visions. He asked her to be part of the listening event, and she said yes without hesitation. She didn’t know that Marilyn Manson would be there too. You have to decide: Do you bail at the last minute, or do you do what you agreed to do? In the end, she decided to stay and fulfill her promise. That doesn’t mean that she supports Marilyn Manson or DaBaby and the things they believe. She was there to support the father of her children.”
A third person in the know added: “She understands why there is backlash. Kim is all about positive publicity. She would have never participated if she knew Manson would be there.”
Kanye West responded to the scandal by saying that the collaboration with Manson is staying and added: “Marilyn Manson’s voice is featured on DONDA. And he will continue to conceptually collaborate with Ye on the DONDA project.”
