Kendall Jenner has a big new project to look forward to, and she is already celebrating in style, or high fashion is better suited by the looks of things.
Hours after it was confirmed that Jenner had signed on to become creative director of the luxury e-tailer Forward, known as FWRD, she was pictured entering a fancy Hollywood eatery.
The model and media personality, accompanied by a group of friends, gave the photographers an eyeful in a completely sheer bustier.
The socialite gave a glimpse at the black lace bra under her jaw-dropping top. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star paired the bustier with a black clingy silk skirt and matching thong sandal heels.
Kendall Jenner completed the look by making a bold statement with her accessory — an eye-catching zebra printed handbag.
Jenner also walked around with a bottle of her tequila brand, 818, which has hit worldwide success since its launch earlier this year.
The 25-year-old supermodel was all smiles as she stepped in Beauty & Essex in Hollywood to celebrate her major contract.
Jenner, who signed the partnership with the brand earlier this week, issued a statement explaining how her journey into the fashion world led to the collaboration.
The reality TV star stated: “[This position] means an additional step in my journey with fashion, where I can work with the brands and creative teams I have admired in fresh, new ways.”
She went on to say that working with the company is an opportunity to learn and grow. Jenner shared: “I see this as a great opportunity to put what I’ve learned into practice and most likely learn even more.”
So, what does Jenner’s new position entail? As creative director, the influencer will bring along her millions of fans to the brand.
She has also been handed the task of giving “the look and feel of the site” and will curate designers and trends for customers to shop.
Raissa Gerona, the chief brand officer of FWRD’s parent company, Revolve Group, gave the reason why Jenner is the best choice for the post: “Kendall is the epitome of luxury fashion, and there isn’t a better fit for this position.”
Michael Mente, co-founder and co-CEO of Revolve Group, added: “[Jenner’s] multifaceted experience in the fashion industry and the vision she has outlined for the FWRD business has the potential to transform our business and the luxury business as a whole.”
Kendall Jenner is making some savvy business moves.
