Kristin Cavallari is happily moving on with her dating life, but she is furious about how her ex-husband, Jay Cutler, has decided to go about his.
In mid-2020, Cavallari and her spouse ended their 10-year marriage. The fashion designer has had many brief relationships, while Cutler claimed that he struggled to jump back into the dating pool.
This week, the former athlete decided to give romance another chance by going out to dinner with one of Kristin Cavallari’s friends, Jana Kramer.
According to PEOPLE magazine, Kramer and Cutler were seen recently enjoying a dinner date in Nashville, Tennessee.
The stunning pair enjoyed a private dinner and later went to a bar for fancy drinks. The source, who spoke to the media outlet, explained: “So far, it’s just been one date.”
Immediately after the news was confirmed, the Uncommon James designer took some savage and drastic decisions. Kristin Cavallari has decided to cut all ties with her former pal and has blocked her on all social media platforms.
A close friend of Kristin Cavallari spoke to the Daily Mail and made the following revelations: “Kristin is done with Jana. Girlfriends don’t do this to one another. She feels like it is a complete stab in the back. Girlfriends don’t do this to one another. Kristin immediately ‘blocked’ the singer on social media.”
The reality TV star felt like she was betrayed by the singer and was therefore forced to make a move.
The family friend went on to say: “Kristin feels like Jana Kramer’s date with ex-husband was a stab in the back. It took her all of one second after learning the news that she was seeing Jay to block her on social media.”
Kristin Cavallari is further frustrated by what her friend did because she was the shoulder and counselor that she needed when she went through her embarrassing divorce from her “serial cheater” husband, Mike Caussin, in 2019.
The insider went on to explain: “No one knows this but Kristin actually recommended her divorce attorney to Jana when she needed help leaving her toxic marriage. Both girls were really close, but Kristin cannot see a way forward in their friendship after Jana did this to her.”
However, another source close to Jay Cutler revealed that he made the desperate and shameless move to go out with his wife’s friend to get her attention and win her heart.
A friend of the former NFL dropped this bombshell to Page Six: “Jealous with his date with her friend. He’s not happy she’s dating Chase [Rice] and has been trying to get Kristin back.”
Observers say the plan is unlikely to work.
