In one year, Tom Cruise will be celebrating the release of his much-anticipated action film, Mission Impossible 7.
According to a series of photos that surfaced, there are no limits to how far he will go to ensure it is a big success. On Thursday, the Risky Business star was seen playing the daredevil as he filmed scenes in the UK.
The 59-year-old actor and filmmaker looked like a real-life superhero dressed in all-black as he jumped from a helicopter and soared down to earth via parachute.
Pictures showed Tom Cruise with a huge smile on his face as he descended into the luscious green fields in Yorkshire.
Cruise, who was dressed in his character, Ethan Hunt’s full spy attire, had to film the daring scene three times to make it possible for director Christopher McQuarrie to land the perfect shot.
After making a safe landing, Cruise was seen later posing with staff and crew members.
A few days prior, Cruise was seen taking part in another jaw-dropping scene in Yorkshire where he was clinging to a moving train. The daring scenes surfaced just weeks after the film went through a series of hiccups.
Recently, it was reported there was a possibility that the legendary star caught the coronavirus.
Filming was shot down as he had to be isolated for 14 days. Prior to that, Tom Cruise was caught in embarrassing audio where he slammed the crew after 14 of them contracted the virus.
He could be heard lashing out at the employees by saying: “Motherf—ers, you’re f—ing gone. We are the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us. They believe in us and what we’re doing.”
He continued by: ” I’m on the phone with every f—ing studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs, you motherf—ers. I don’t ever want to see it again. Ever!”
He also stated: “No apologies, you can tell it to the people that are losing their f—ing homes because our industry is shut down. It’s not going to put food on their table or pay for their college education.”
A source spoke to The Sun at the time and revealed that the tension did not go down after the heated tirade: “The first outburst was big, but things haven’t calmed since.Tension has been building for months, and this was the final straw. Since it became public there has been more anger, and several staff have walked.”
Mission Impossible 7 is set for release on September 30, 2022.
