Kim Kardashian has decided to join the long list of celebrities who have decided to share their opinion on the burgeoning romance between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck.
The power couple, known as “Bennifer,” made their big red carpet debut at the 2021 Venice Film Festival on Friday. The pair reunited in mid-2021 after ending their romance almost two decades ago.
Affleck and Lopez shocked the world when they called off their engagement and wedding in late 2003 and eventually went their separate ways.
While in Italy, Jennifer Lopez turned heads in a stunning white dress that featured a daring neckline. The risqué mermaid-style Georges Hobeika gown included a diamond-like necklace around the cleavage.
The singer and actress completed the look with a pair of silver sky-high heels, a matching clutch, and a massive diamond bracelet.
As for Ben Affleck, he looked very elegant in a black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, crisp white shirt, and black bow tie.
The pair looked smitten as they posed a storm for the hundreds of photographers present for the premiere.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck also made sure to pack some heavy PDA as the cameras snapped away.
The glowing lovebirds are in the European country to celebrate the release of The Last Duel. Affleck teamed up with his good friend, Matt Damon, to write the film.
The best pals also star in the movie alongside Adam Driver and Jodie Comer.
Kim Kardashian took Instagram where she posted a picture of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck sharing an intimate moment while at the film festival and used the caption to explain that she supports their love and happiness.
“Long Live Bennifer,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star captioned the post. A source close to the pair spoke to PEOPLE magazine and confessed that Affleck and Lopez are having a ball in Itlay, and she is happy to celebrate his impressive work.
The insider said: “They both have a busy fall coming up and enjoy spending as much time together as possible now. Jennifer is very happy that she is able to join Ben in Venice. She is excited to be by his side and to support him. She loves the movie. They are still very happy together.”
As for Kim Kardashian publicly backing Jennifer Lopez, it is not at all surprising.
Not that long ago, Lopez’s ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, made this interesting revelation: “Kim and Jennifer are very, very close, and she’s almost like a mentee of Jennifer, and Jennifer’s mentored her a lot over the years.”
Observers say that Kardashian might be eyeing a reunion with her ex, Kanye West.
