However, this weekend, Kaia Gerber and her boyfriend, Jacob Elordi, of Euphoria fame, took their relationship to the next level by stepping out at the star-studded event in California.
The American model and Australian actor dazzled at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.
The 20-year-old social media personality and her boyfriend, 24, brought a bit of old Hollywood to the soirée.
The daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber looked glamorous in a long glittery champagne Celine dress that featured spaghetti straps.
She wore multiple jewelry pieces by Tiffany & Co and completed the look with strappy gold high heels.
Cindy Crawford’s only daughter kept her hairstyle simple and classy, opting for a chic bun, with long wavy strands running down her cheeks.
As for Jacob Elordi, he looked elegant in a classic black Celine tuxedo. The lovebirds seem to have forgotten about the other attendees and the photographers because they only had eyes for each other.
In many of the photos, Elordi had the look of love for the influencer-turned-actress. The Kissing Booth star and Kaia Gerber began dating in the fall of 2020, and according to reports, her famous family is a huge fan of the actor.
A source claimed: “Her family thinks [Elordi] is a stand-up guy and a breath of fresh air.” Before dating Elordi, Gerber had a relationship with Pete Davidson.
Elordi was even spotted on vacation with the Gerber/ Crawford family on vacation in Mexico.
An insider spoke to Us Weekly and revealed that the duo is having a good time together, and they are taking things slow for the time being.
The source went on to reveal that the pair has a lot of things in common and respect each other’s professional boundaries.
The family friend stated: “Kaia and Jacob are enjoying being a couple right now…They’re not rushing into anything serious like an engagement. They’re young and want to experience life together. They’re lovers and also best friends. They’re always together when they don’t have work commitments.”
