Salma Hayek is taking some much-needed downtime after traveling the world with Angelina Jolie and Lady Gaga to promote her latest movies — Eternals and House of Gucci.
The actress turned heads during the red carpet premieres of both films with her stellar sense of fashion.
She has also sat down for multiple interviews and taken part in an array of photoshoots to promote the projects.
On Monday, Salma Hayek took to Instagram to let her millions of followers know that she is now relaxing.
Hayek is, of course, enjoying her mini-vacation in a bikini while lounging in an inviting hammock where she looks like a sleeping beauty.
The 55-year-old movie star shared a stunning photo wearing a gorgeous halter peacock bathing suit that hugged her famous curves.
She captioned the photo: “Nothing like a hammock siesta to recover from promoting 2 movies back to back”
The one-piece swimsuit had a touch of sexy with a keyhole cutout that revealed a lot of cleavage.
Salma Hayek appears to have no makeup on and has her long hair in a messy bun.
The mother of one even closes her eyes to sleep a bit and to fully enjoy the moment of serenity after two months of hard work and hectic travels.
In one of her interviews, Salma Hayek, known for being fearless, revealed that she had a tough time conquering a nude scene with Lady Gaga.
In the film, the star, who portrays Pina Auriemma, confessed that filming the mud bath scene with Lady Gaga with no clothes on was one of the hardest things she ever had to do.
She revealed: “Once you’re in, you’re naked – well, not completely, we had something underneath but nothing on top – and the thing is that, in my head, I was going to sink.”
Hayek went on to share that she had to gain weight specifically for the role and her new physique created a few roadblocks as she was doing the scene.
The activist explained: “Me, with my extra kilos, I sit on the mud, and I’m not sinking. And I’m trying to pull the mud [away from] my huge butt to make some weight [shift]. And then it starts moving me around, and then there’s the boobs going this.”
Salma Hayek concluded by saying this about Lady Gaga’s professionalism and her struggles on the set: “Gaga was trying to stay focused on the scene. I couldn’t remember the lines. One leg [was] up, and then I go sink in[to the bath]. It was horrific, [the] most challenging scene I’ve ever done.”
Hayek keeps challenging herself in her field.
