On Friday, Kim Kardashian took some drastic measures to split from her West for good in order to move on freely with her romance with The King of Staten Island actor Pete Davidson.
A reliable source has confirmed that Kim Kardashian is going all the way with the divorce proceedings this time around.
She has asked a California judge to declare her legally single and “essentially ask the judge to separate issues of child custody and property from marital status.”
The businesswoman also made the surprising request to drop “West” from her legal name and has asked for her maiden name to be restored.
In the past, many believed that Kim Kardashian would keep the West name for the sake of her children, but it seems that is not the case.
It is not known when or how West will respond to the news. Last month, the MC claimed that Kardashian is still his wife because he has yet to see any of the divorce papers.
