Jennifer Lopez Calls Out This Lie In The Ben Affleck Interview About Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Lopez Ben Affleck Garner Marriage Lie Howard Stern Interview

Jennifer Lopez is not happy about what is being reported on her feelings when it comes to Ben Affleck‘s controversial interview about his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.

Lopez has decided to speak directly to the media and call out the lie released by one of her so-called friends.

A source spoke to Page Six and claimed Jennifer Lopez, 52, was upset after hearing the comments made on the Howard Stern Show.

J-Lo is reportedly trying to get closer to Ben Affleck’s three children and his ex-wife and does not appreciate being drawn into “controversy.”

The Lopez source told the publication: “[Lopez] is pissed. She is getting pulled into this because she is dating him. She doesn’t want to be dragged into this. She has met Jennifer Garner. She is trying to get to know her and Ben’s kids. It’s reckless and cavalier of him.”

Jennifer Lopez has reached out to PEOPLE Magazine and has called out the untruth that is being spread on her behalf.

Affleck’s current girlfriend said: “This story is simply not true. It is not how I feel. I couldn’t have more respect for Ben as a father, a co-parent, and a person.”

Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is defending himself against the backlash.

He said he does not blame ex-wife Jennifer Garner for his alcoholism following the viral interview with Howard Stern this week but would not apologize for his comments.

Speaking on Wednesday to TV talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, 49-year-old actor Ben Affleck refused to apologize for appearing to criticize actress Jennifer Garner, 49, to whom he was married for more than a decade and shares three children.

During his interview with Stern, Affleck said he felt “trapped” in his marriage to Garner, which ended in 2018.

He struggled with alcoholism towards the end of their relationship and went into rehab in 2018.

However, his comments on the show were taken out of context, Affleck said to the TV host the following day.

Blaming the media reports and “clickbait” articles online, Ben Affleck confessed that his feelings had been hurt, and he had been made out to be “the worst” and “most stupid, awful guy.”

He described his interview with Stern as being “really cool” and “in-depth” and insisted he had spoken at length about his respect for Garner and their shared mission of putting their children first.

He said: “I had gone on, said how much we respected each other, cared about each other, cared about our kids, put them first. It said that I had blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism, that I was trapped in this marriage, just made me out to be the worst, most insensitive, stupid, awful guy. It hurts my feelings.”

However, social media users were not too happy about his comments towards Jennifer Garner and accused him of blaming his ex-wife for his alcohol problems.

Viewers of Kimmel’s show took to social media to complain that Ben Affleck was “whining” on a different chat show and was not taking any accountability for his own problems.

They also commented that Affleck had refused to apologize but was instead of blaming others for misinterpreting his comments.
