She took part in an interview during the event and explained that she was indeed in love and added: “We are. Sometimes you have to wait for things in life. I waited patiently — well, maybe not patiently, but I waited.”
A source at the time revealed to PEOPLE Magazine that the lovebirds were in it for the long run.
The insider shared: “Van has met her kids, so it seems pretty serious. They respect each other and have a great deal in common. Both are very successful and smart, and they seem to be in a mature relationship. It seems like a really good match.”
