It has been confirmed by reliable sources that spoke to Page Six, the famous reality TV star responded to her former boyfriend and the father of her daughter, Tristan Thompson, after he penned a lengthy apology.
The mega influencer and reality TV star decided to respond to the serial cheater via a private message because she did not want to add more attention to the humiliating matter.
The basketball star wrote the message after it was confirmed that he did indeed father a child with his fling and personal trainer, Maralee Nichols.
Thompson had previously confessed to cheating with the workout expert multiple times while he was dating and living with Kardashian and their three-year-old daughter, True Thompson in a lavish mansion in California.
Thompson had his wild sexcapade with Nichols while he was trying to have a second child with Kardashian.
A family friend of Khloé Kardashian told the publication that while she appreciated the words, she was done with their romance.
The source said that the fashion designer will never ever take Tristan Thompson back after his latest cheating scandal with Maralee Nichols.
The person with ties to the Kardashian clan explained that she will not publicly humiliate the father of her child and added: “Khloé decided not to respond back publicly, but privately she let him know she appreciated the message. She is taking the high road, and while she will never, ever get back with him, Khloé really wants Tristan to be a good father to [their daughter] True, and for him to be a big part of their daughter’s life.”
The source added of Kardashian: “She’s a great mom and she wants her daughter to have a good relationship with her dad … So for that reason, Khloé is not going to fight with Tristan or block him; from the family.”
Tristan Thompson has tried to win his family back with flowers and has apparently promised to change his ways.
However, another insider told PEOPLE Magazine that Kardashian regrets not listening to her friends who told her to dump Thompson the first time he broke her heart.
Some observers still believe that the former lovebirds could still get back together in the future.
