Julia Fox was letting off some Kim Kardashian vibes for her son’s first birthday on Sunday, as she arrived wearing a Matrix-inspired outfit.
The 31-year-old actress is dating rapper Kanye West, but still has plenty of time for her young son, Valentino, who turned one year old over the weekend.
And as Fox arrived at upscale restaurant Lucien with a bag of party goods and some colorful balloons, it was her outfit that really got people talking.
She was spotted in Manhattan’s East Village wearing an all-black Matrix-inspired ensemble that looked exactly like an outfit Kim Kardashian wore in photos posted to Instagram in November.
Fox wore black leather pants and a top, covered with a long black leather coat to match and a pair of black gloves.
Her tiny sunglasses finished the look and bore a striking resemblance to the outfit worn by Kanye West’s estranged wife just weeks ago.
Julia Fox is reportedly taking fashion advice from her new beau, West, who officially became a billionaire last year thanks to his line of fashion brands and companies.
However, on Sunday, the day was focused on Valentino and his birthday. An Alice in Wonderland-inspired cake, designed by Michelle Martinez, was shared in photos posted to Instagram.
And it appeared the restaurant had been hired out exclusively for the party, which was attended by friends and family.
Fox posted a sweet tribute to her young son — whom she shares with her ex-husband, Peter Artemiev — referring to him as her “biggest blessing” and “greatest accomplishment.”
She wrote that she “doesn’t deserve” Valentino and promised to love him “unconditionally.” The beaming mom’s entire message read: “My beautiful baby is 1 today!! Thank you so much for showing me what love is. Thank you for humbling me and teaching me patience and hard work. Thank you for being my biggest blessing. My greatest accomplishment. My masterpiece. I don’t deserve you but somehow we’re here and I promise to love you unconditionally and accept you for who you are ♥️.”
She also shared some sweet videos alongside the birthday message, including one where Fox is dressed as Star Wars’ Princess Leia alongside an adorable Valentino dressed as Yoda.
It seems that Fox and Artemiev have made peace after she had accused him of being a “deadbeat” dad. On her podcast, Forbidden Fruits, she stated: “All I want to say is, I’m sorry. You’re not a deadbeat, I know that you’re not, and I know that it wasn’t that you weren’t trying to see [son] Valentino, it’s that you weren’t trying to see me.”
She continued: “Everyone had COVID. I had no help at all, whatsoever, and my friend was out and saw Peter out. Peter was saying something along the lines of, ‘That bitch won’t let me see my son.’ And when that was relayed to me … my blood boiled. I just snapped.”
Fox was reportedly a huge fan of the Kardashians. Something the billionaire reality TV star thinks is positive in case Fox and West stay together for a long time.
