It is a new year, and it seems that Shanna Moakler has decided to debut a whole new look.
Taking to her official Instagram page, the model and ex-wife of Travis Barker shared the before and after photos of her transformation.
In the before picture, the mother of three wearing a Fuschia crop top, black blazer could be seen with her natural hair — shoulder-length blonde.
While in the after photo, Shanna Moakler shows off her new look. The influencer had a dye job and opted for a lighter shade of blonde.
She also went for very long extensions that reached her stomach.
The former beauty queen revealed the devastating reason for the significant change in the caption.
Shanna Moakler explained that she recently had surgery and dealt with some health issues after contacting COVID-19.
Moakler said she suffered significant hair loss, which pushed her to do something she had never done before — use extensions so it could appear fuller and longer.
The model said in her post: “I’ve shared with a lot of you after my surgery and having Covid, and all my hair fell out!!! ? I’ve never in my life had extensions and was always kind of scared of them having colored hair! However, I gave it a try with the best in the business @larackay and teamed up with @bellamihair. She added: “It started three months after I had Covid… it was nuts!”
Shanna Moakler also appeared in a brief video where the professional hair expert is working her magic on her.

Her revelations about her battle with COVID and hair loss pushed hundred of women to step into the comment section to share their experience and side effects of the illness.

It seems that Shanna Moakler is starting 2022 on a very different leave after spending most of 2021 getting dragged in scandals involving her ex-husband Travis Barker and new fiancée Kourtney Kardashian.
