She also unveiled a stunning promotional picture for her makeup company.
However, what really captivated her supporters and the media is the third post which consisted of several photos of twin sisters and DJs Simi Khadra and Haze Khadra.
Gomez flashed a giant smile in one photo as she posed with the twins.
In another snapshot, she has one arm up in the air as she hugs one of the sisters.
Her sweet caption, which indicated how long the trio had been friends, read: “Since 2013 ?.”
Many fans were left confused by the pictures because days prior, Simi was spotted kissing Gomez’s ex-boyfriend and singer, The Weeknd, as he celebrated his birthday in Las Vegas.
The new couple was also seen on a romantic stroll in Los Angeles.
A reliable source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that The Weeknd and Simi Khadra are indeed an item and added: “The Weeknd and Simi have been seeing each other and having fun together. They were acting very couple-y this past weekend at his birthday celebration in Vegas.”
The insider went on to say: “It’s easy since they have known each other for a long time. Simi is supportive of The Weeknd, and they have a natural flirtation and chemistry.”
Selena Gomez and The Weeknd dated on and off in 2017, with the Canadian crooner penning a heartfelt song about the actress and singer.
While the businesswoman and mega influencer has been able to keep a close relationship with Simi Khadra, not the same can be said for The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend, Bella Hadid.
