Prince Harry Has Received The Emotional Olive Branch From Prince William He Had Been Waiting For Since Leaving London With Meghan Markle

Prince Harry William Kind Words

It might be baby steps, but it seems that royal brothers Prince Harry and Prince William are slowly but surely making their way back to each other.

The once inseparable duo parted ways after clashing over an endless list of things, including Prince Harry’s refusal to have a long engagement after he met Meghan Markle.

While Prince William dated Kate Middleton on and off for over a decade before deciding to make her his bride, it took Prince Harry only a few months to make that life-changing decision.

As the brothers were feuding over his romance with the retired actress, the Sussexes rattled the world by announcing that they were stepping down from their royal duties and moving to California to start a new and independent life.

The couple has since resided in Montecito with their young children — Archie and Lilibet Diana — where they have become renegade royals sharing their opinions on political and social issues.

The move to the United States made the relationship between Prince Harry and the heir to the throne even more complicated so did the many controversial interviews.

Prince Harry and his spouse conducted a series of memorable interviews in 2021 that left the royal family in shambles.

Prince Harry has irked Prince William by claiming that he is trapped in the monarchy.

The former soldier infamously told Oprah Winfrey: “My father and my brother, they are trapped, and they don’t get to leave. And I have huge compassion for that.”

He went on to say: “I love William to bits. He’s my brother. We’ve been through hell together. We have a shared experience, but we were on different paths. The relationship is space at the moment. And time heals all things, hopefully.”

While the uncertainty of the brothers’ relationship has caused great debate, appearing on a podcast recently, Prince William hinted for the first time that he is willing to let bygones be bygones.

While talking about his late mother, Princess Diana, the future king of England, opted to share a sweet and emotional memory that involved his brother.

Prince William recalled that he would sing Tina Turner‘s hit song “Simply the Best” along with his younger brother as she drove them to school.

Prince William revealed: “When I was younger, Harry and I, we were at boarding school. And my mother used to play all sorts of songs to kind of while away the anxiety of going back to school. And one of the songs I massively remember and has stuck with me all this time, and I still, to this day, still quite enjoy secretly, is Tina Turner’s ‘The Best’ because sitting in the backseat, singing away, it felt like a real family moment.”

A royal expert ran with the sweet comment and explained that it might be a big gesture towards Prince Harry.

Royal expert Duncan Larcombe, who deemed it an olive branch, told OK!: “We have to hope that even the most subtle words from William here and there act as little signals to Harry. It’s as if he’s saying, ‘Look, come on. Let’s sort this out. As the older sibling, William is sensible enough to know that he has to fix things.”

The royal expert went on to say that the reconciliation between Prince Charles‘s sons will depend on the number of revelations that Prince Harry makes in his upcoming memoir.

The “intimate and heartfelt” tell-all book is due out later this year. In a statement, Prince Harry promised to dig deep in his memory and his soul to “share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”

The royal author stated: “We don’t yet know if or how strongly he’ll slate his father and brother in the book. It’s hard to imagine what might be coming, but until that book hits the shelves, the stalemate is highly likely to continue.”

Prince Harry has seen his brother twice since ditching his royal duties — at the funeral of their grandfather, Prince Philip, and at an event honoring Princess Diana.

The Duke of Sussex was supposed to meet his brother and Queen Elizabeth II at a Thanksgiving service for Prince Phillip, but he has released a statement that he is bailing out amid securities issues with the British government.

It is not clear if Prince Harry, his wife Meghan Markle, will be by Queen Elizabeth’s side in June as she celebrates her Platinum Jubliee.
