Prince Charles Puts His Foot Down After Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Brief Trip To England And New Bombshell Interview

Prince Harry Charles Meghan Markle Royal Part Time

It is not known in what capacity, but it seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could make a comeback to the royal family.

An expert has revealed that Prince Charles‘s largely-discussed plan to modernize the monarchy could see Prince Harry and Markle return as part-time royals.

In early 2020, Prince Harry and Markle stepped away from their royal duties and moved to California.

At the time, the pair released a statement hinting that they would not mind having a foot in and a foot out — meaning be able to work and be financially independent while still being of service to Queen Elizabeth II and the British people.

However, Queen Elizabeth did not see it that way.

Her Majesty, 96, has been on the throne for 70 years and does not believe it is possible to have it both ways.

Elizabeth II made that abundantly clear in the statement that she released in the hours after “Megxit.”

She said in the official statement: “…in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family, it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.”

According to royal experts, Prince Charles will put his foot down and do things differently from his mother and invite Prince Harry and his family to be working royals again.

Royal author Said Quinn had this to say on the matter: “We’ve already heard Charles say he wants to streamline the royal family, [to] modernize it. I think Meghan and Harry are hoping…Charles will be open to [them being] part-time royals, which is what they wanted from the start. Of course, the queen—who grew up with this sense that you’re either in fully or out fully—she wouldn’t allow [it]…Charles may well allow this.”

He added: “They could do that for half the year and, you know, do their other stuff in America.”

Prince Harry and Markle recently traveled to London, where they briefly met with Prince Charles. The trio exchanged for only 15 minutes per Queen Elizabeth’s request.

The pair has promised to return to the UK for the Platinum Jubilee in June so that Queen Elizabeth can spend some time with her great-grandchildren — Archie and Lilibet.

Prince Charles might have his work cut out for him if he plans to lure Prince Harry and Markle back into the royal family.

In an interview that aired this morning, Prince Harry was asked if he misses Prince Charles and Prince William, and he had a jaw-dropping response.

He said: “For me at the moment, I’m here focused on these guys [Invictus athletes] and these families and giving everything that I can, 120 percent to them, to make sure they have the experience of a lifetime. That’s my focus here. And when I leave here, I get back, and my focus is on my family, who I miss massively.”

It seems that the door is not yet open on Prince Harry’s end.
