This week, many movements were made between the two princes, but none of them were in a positive direction.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a surprise visit to London two years after “Megxit.”
On their way to the Hague, the couple made a brief stop in the UK, where they met with Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.
Markle and Prince Harry could not see Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton.
The future King and Queen of England made what was described as a significant move to be absent from the country and avoid seeing the Sussex couple.
The Cambridges took their children skiing in the Alps while Markle and Prince Harry mingled and had tea with the royals.
Many experts claim that the decision not to break bread with the former American actress and Prince Harry implies that the relationship has come to a standstill.
It is believed that the two brothers have been in a cold war since the Oprah Winfrey interview, where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex dropped many humiliating truth bombs.
A friend of Prince William appeared to confirm the reports that the rift is still ongoing.
While discussing the many issues between the brothers, the pal claimed that the Duke of Cambridge does not like nor want to talk about Prince Harry.
The Palace source also claimed that he disapproves of Prince Harry ambushing their father.
A friend of Prince William told the Daily Mail: “He doesn’t like talking about Harry, and he says it gives him a headache.”
They added: “He understands the need for reconciliation and all that, but at the same time, he worries about his father being ‘ambushed’ by Harry.”
Prince Harry appeared to retaliate against the embarrassing revelation made by the friend and his brother’s decision to snub him.
While in The Netherlands, Prince Harry took part in an interview with Hoda Kotb, where he was asked about Queen Elizabeth, Prince William, and Prince Charles.
Prince Harry was delighted to talk about his grandmother and their most recent meeting, but he made it clear that he was not interested in talking about his brother.
The broadcaster asked the British Prince: “Do you miss your brother and your dad?”
Prince Harry side-stepped the sensitive question by focusing on the competition, Markle, and their young children — Archie and Lilibet Diana.
He stated: “Look, I mean, for me at the moment, I’m here focused on these guys and their families. I’m here and giving everything that I can 120% to them to make sure that they have the experience of a lifetime. That’s my focus here. When I leave here, I get back, and my focus is on my family, who I miss massively.”
Prince Harry, who is not afraid of sharing his truth in an interview, was open and honest about the rift between himself and his brother while appearing in the documentary Harry and Meghan: An African Journey.
Prince Harry said “inevitably stuff happens” as part of the role and the pressure the family is under.
He added: “We will always be brothers. We are certainly on different paths at the moment, but I will always be there for him as I know he will always be there for me. As brothers, you have good days. You have bad days.”
Prince Harry also revealed in this week’s interview that he is hoping to travel to London with his entire family and be with the Queen during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Maybe there will be a peace talk between the brothers.
