After a two-year hiatus, media mogul Simon Cowell has returned to the little screen on Britain’s Got Talent, where he is bringing on the emotions, the drama, and some meanness.
Over the weekend, Simon Cowell delighted and left millions of viewers confused with his very different face.
Cowell, known for his sharp tongue, sat on the judging panel with Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, and David Walliams.
The foursome listened and watched Britain’s brightest talents give it their best shot in the hope of reaching fame and fortune.
However, many were unable to focus on the determined performers because of Cowell’s new drastic look.
Taking to Twitter and Instagram, fans of the talent competition made it known that they were shocked by his new visage.
Some of the music mogul’s backers said they were concerned about his health, and others wondered if he had gone too far with the plastic surgeries.
In a recent interview, Simon Cowell explained precisely what happened to his face.
Talking about his appearance, Simon Cowell said that he decided to have all his fillers removed and went on a diet.
The TV personality said that he was unrecognizable at one point, and he scared his 8-year-old son, Eric, with his ever-changing face that looked like something “straight from a horror movie.”
The talent show boss explained: “There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day and didn’t recognize it as me first of all. Eric was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.”
The former X Factor judge opened up about his new healthy lifestyle by saying: “There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other. But actually, for me now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tonnes of water.”
He confessed that he regrets the decision to pump his face with fillers.
He claimed: “Hopefully, I look better now – I probably did have a little too much Botox a couple of years ago because everyone on TV has it. Now I have facials, but nothing too extravagant at the moment. I have a girl who comes here and does a great face massage – it’s very relaxing.”
The TV producer decided to change his life after a terrible E-bike accident that left him immobile for a month.
He has since lost a tonne of weight and is getting ready to marry the mother of his son and longtime partner, Lauren Silverman.
