Many family members were in attendance, including Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Khloé Kardashian.
All of Travis Barker’s children were present for the big moment. A long list of high-profile celebrities, such as Beyoncé, traveled to Europe to witness the famous couple exchange their vows.
However, fans of the reality TV star were quick to notice a few important absentees at the ceremony.
Many took to social media to wonder why Rob Kardashian was not by his big sister’s side for such an important event.
While Kim Kardashian has been married three times, this is Kourtney Kardashian’s first marriage.
Another person, who was not seen in Italy, is Kourtney Kardashian’s parent and former stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner, who helped raise her.
Close to Barker and Kardashian, a reliable source spoke to TMZ and revealed that the former athlete and failed politician was never invited to the wedding.
The person in the know told the publication that the Republican was not considered close enough family to be part of the intimate affair.
The insider confirmed the rumors that the relationship between Kourtney Kardashian and her parent had disintegrated over the years.
The family friend said the pair has “a very limited relationship, do not really see or speak to each other, so she did not feel it necessary to invite Caitlyn to her destination wedding.”
The retired athlete made sure to keep herself occupied during the festivities around the nuptials in Italy.
The 72-year-old former Olympian was seen in nearby Barcelona, Spain, watching and cheering her team, Jenner Racing, drive to victory.
The former I Am Cait star has also been hard at work making the rounds with a series of interviews to promote her brands and keep her name in the media.
She achieved that goal by talking about Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Pete Davidson.
Caitlyn Jenner said this about Kardashian’s romance with the former Saturday Night Live star: “Pete is very different from what she [Kardashian] would normally date, but Kimberly has been through a lot with the guys she’s been with … especially Kanye, a very complicated guy.”
The Olympic gold medalist continued by confirming that it was complicated with West.
She confessed: “I really like Kanye; I got along with him so well. The two of us did great together. Even when I transitioned, he was so on my side … but he was very difficult to live with. And Pete is 180 degrees [in] the other direction. I mean, first of all, he treats her so well … Kim is so happy, and Kim deserves to be happy.”
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are planning a fourth wedding upon their return to California for the family and friends who were unable to make it to Italy — it is not known if Rob Kardashian and Caitlyn Jenner will be there this time.
