Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s trip to England was not in vain because Prince Charles made an unexpected public gesture towards them just hours after they jetted off from the UK.

This week, the former soldier, Markle, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet Diana, took their first trip to London as a family to attend Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Markle and Prince Harry were hit with the first-ever balcony ban issued by Queen Elizabeth.

Her Majesty confirmed that Prince Harry, Markle, and multiple other non-working royals would not be appearing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during her Jubilee parade.

The royal snub continued with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Charles looking away from the area where Prince Harry and Markle were seated during the Thanksgiving service in St Paul’s Cathedral.

After the church service, Prince William and Middleton did not speak to Prince Harry and Markle.

The two heirs to the British throne and Middleton also skipped the first birthday party of Prince Harry and Markle’s daughter, Libet Diana.

By the looks of things, Kate Middleton and Prince William have not met their niece.

While Prince Harry, Markle, and their children boarded a private plane and flew back to California, the future kings of England and Middleton joined Queen Elizabeth for a second appearance on the balcony and watched another massive parade.

It seems that the rift was never-ending, but in a surprising move, it appears that Prince Charles has decided to offer an olive branch to the renegade royals.

Before his son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren boarded their private jet, Prince Charles shared a carousel of nine photos taken during the Jubilee celebrations.

The first photo featured the Prince of Wales and his wife attending the service of thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral in Westminster on Friday.

It was followed by a photo of Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, leaving the church service.

Prince Charles also uploaded photos of his sister, Princess Anne, brother Prince Edward, and other family members.

Prince Charles surprised many by acknowledging Prince Harry and Meghan Markle by posting a lovely photo of the couple as they stood outside of the cathedral chatting with cousin Zara Tindall.

The images were accompanied by the following message via the Clarence House page: “Thank you, Your Majesty, for 70 years of unwavering and dedicated service. The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, along with other members of the Royal Family, attended a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral for The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.”

The caption went on to say: “Over 400 people were invited to attend in recognition of their contribution to public life at both a community and national level. Drawn from all four nations of the United Kingdom, this included NHS and key workers, teaching staff and representatives from the Armed Forces, charities, social enterprises, and voluntary groups.”

There were many reports that Prince Harry and Markle received a frosty reception in the Palace because of the shocking interviews, Netflix reality show, and the upcoming tell-all book.

While the pair caused drama in the past, they kept a low profile during the Jubilee.

Many royal fans have praised Prince Charles for taking a step toward making peace and healing the royal rift with his gesture.
