Many royal observers claimed that Prince Charles and other members of the British royal family went into full panic mode after the Platinum Jubliee.
Days after Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 70th year on the throne, Prince Charles, known to be reserved, had his aide talk to the media about Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their young children — Archie and Lilibet Diana.
The royal aide reached out to PEOPLE Magazine and showered the Sussexes with praises for coming to England for the festivities.
The senior royal source, who was authorized by Prince Charles to talk to reporters about the meeting with Prince Harry, Markle, and their children said: “It was fantastic to see them. It was wonderful to have them back in Britain. The prince and the duchess were absolutely thrilled to see them. The prince, of course, hasn’t seen his grandson Archie for a bit of time, and so it was very, very, very special to have some time with him. He hadn’t met Lili, his granddaughter, and so to meet her was very emotional a very, very wonderful thing.”
Many were baffled that a top staff of the future king of England leaked details about a private family moment.
Others were further confused by the revelations that Prince Charles was “very happy,” “very emotional” to be with the Sussexes during this “very special moment.”
A royal expert was quick to solve the mystery surrounding the leaks and the uncharacteristic use of so many superlatives to describe Prince Harry and his clan — the British royal family was running scared because of the upcoming memoir and potential interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Royal expert Daniela Elser explained that Prince Charles is afraid of what will be written in the tell-all book.
What new childhood traumas will Prince Harry share with the world? Will Prince Harry revisit some of Camilla Parker Bowles‘s most infamous and humiliating scandals?
The royal pundit claimed that Prince Charles and other royals have cooked up a tactic to appease Prince Harry and added: “The possibility that they might be considering going another round with the billionaire TV host, along with the fact that Harry’sHarry’s memoir is set to be published in coming months, suddenly casts all of this out-of-character make nice in a very different light. Basically, are they trying to mollify the Duke and Duchess, a strategy of appeasement via senior aide?”
She went on to say that the royal family finally understood that Prince Harry holds a power card with the book he is about the publish.
Queen Elizabeth adopted the same method as Prince Charles — appease the renegade royals by burying the results into the investigation that Markle bullied her staff members.
She shared: “The royal house looked intent on sending a very clear message during the four-day knees-up about just where the Sussexes now ranked in the pecking order. That cannot have been an easy pill to swallow. Fast forward only a month until today, and the tables look like they might be turning, with Harry and Meghan looking like they are holding some pretty powerful cards.”
Prince Harry has decided to push back the book in a surprising move. The highly anticipated memoir was set to be published in late fall or around Christmas 2022, but it seems that it has been delayed for 2023.
The reports about the delay surfaced after it was confirmed that the memoir failed to appear on a list of upcoming book releases.
A Royal insider told The Sun on Sunday: “If this book’s coming out this year as originally planned, it should be in the publisher’s marketing and promotional list — unless they’re planning a surprise, or there’s been a delay. Its omission has raised lots of eyebrows in royal circles.”
It seems that Prince Harry has decided that the royals will have a peaceful and drama-free Christmas with this decision.
