This week, the former Saturday Night Live star appeared on Kevin Hart‘s new show, Hart to Heart, where he revealed that he is preparing for the most important role of his life — fatherhood.
An insider close to Kim Kardashian did not waste time hitting pause on Pete Davidson’s hopes.
The source from the billionaire reality TV star’s circle spoke to ET and explained that Kardashian would not be having children soon because she has other priorities.
Currently, the businesswoman is focused on her empire and her dream of becoming a lawyer.
The outlet revealed: “She is prioritizing her career as a lawyer over starting a family with Pete Davidson. She’s not thinking about having more kids at the moment.”
Kim Kardashian shares four children — North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three — with ex-husband and rapper Kanye West.
Talking to Kevin Hart, Pete Davidson explained that because he did not have an ideal childhood, he looks forward to providing just that to his child.
During the interview, the actor spoke about losing his firefighter father during the 9/11 terror attacks.
He explained: “My childhood was not great. Dad passed early, and single mum, a new sister, and I did not handle it great. My sister was like two or three years old, so it was just a f**king nightmare.”
The former SNL star, who has been dating Kim Kardashian for almost one year, revealed that he has been dreaming of starting a family.
He confessed: “I’m definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, is I wanna have a kid. That’s like my dream. It’s like, super corny.”
He went on to say: “I’m so excited for that chapter, so that’s kind of what I’m just preparing for now, is just trying to be as good as a dude, develop and get better, so when that happens, it’s just easier.”
While Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson might not have the same priorities, they do enjoy each other’s company.
The mega influencer was spotted arriving in Australia via her private jet to be with her beau, who is down under to film a new movie.
A source told the Daily Mail that she would “spend a few days” with the comedian and added: “It’s a short visit, but she’s really excited to go. They’ve both been so busy with work commitments, so this is a much-needed break, and they are looking forward to time together.”
Time will tell if the comedian can change the businesswoman’s mind.
