Prince Charles Is Making Huge And Unexpected Efforts For Meghan Markle And Prince Harry

Prince Charles Harry Meghan Markle Monarchy Plans

If Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will not go to London, there is a huge possibility that the future king of England might be the one making a few trips to California.

Indeed, a royal expert has hinted that Prince Charles could be ready to have serious reconciliatory talks with Prince Harry and Markle and might also be willing to travel to see them and bond with his grandchildren.

This week, it was revealed that Queen Elizabeth II has made an open invitation for Prince Harry, Markle, and their children — Archie and Lilibet Diana — to join her at her annual summer vacation in Scotland.

Many reports suggest that the renegade royals might turn down the invite because of their busy schedules.

However, there is hope that Prince Charles, eager to rebuild relations with his son and daughter-in-law, might make some huge and unexpected efforts.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl recently sat down with ET and explained that Prince Charles is sincere about spending more time with his two grandchildren who live in America.

Prince Charles’s top aides have confirmed that he had a wonderful time with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during Her Majesty‘s Platinum Jubilee.

He bonded with Archie, who he had not seen since he was a baby. Prince Charles had a very emotional meeting with Lilibet, who celebrated her first birthday in the UK.

Prince Charles’s wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, was present during the special moments.

Nicholl told ET that not many people know this sweet secret about Prince Charles — more than anything else, he is a loving and doting grandfather.

He enjoys being with Prince William‘s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and wants to do the same with Archie and Lilibet, who live thousands of miles away across the Atlantic.

She revealed: “I think a lot of people don’t see Charles as a doting grandfather, but he absolutely is. He’s spent more time in recent years with the Cambridge grandchildren, and he’s very, very keen to have a close relationship with Meghan and Harry’s children.”

During the private visits with Archie and Lilibet, Prince Charles grew sad because his time with them was short because of the complex schedule around the Jubilee.

According to Nicholl: “Prince Charles deeply treasures these times with his grandchildren, and he is quite sad that there aren’t enough of them with Archie and Lilibet.”

The royal author revealed that the heir to the throne wants to have conciliatory talks with Prince Harry and Markle to resolve their disputes and differences.

She stated: “I do know that Charles absolutely wants to start healing that fractured relationship with Harry. The private meeting was likely very much the beginning of his efforts to mend fences and paved the way for some more conciliatory talks.”

Prince Charles is hoping for some transatlantic trips in order to see his son and his grandchildren.

She added: “He loves his son, but he wants to forgive his son for everything. He wants to repair that relationship and move on. A big part of that is him wanting to be a grandfather and see those grandchildren. It may mean a few more transatlantic trips, but he wants to enjoy this experience.”

With Prince Harry and Markle’s upcoming complicated schedules and various projects, will Prince Charles be making a transatlantic trip to see his family?

Will the revelations made in Prince Harry’s upcoming tell-all book diminish the progress made with his father during the Jubilee?
