The clock is ticking for Prince Harry, whose publishing company has asked him to turn in the pages of his highly anticipated tell-all book.
The book was written with the help of ghostwriter J.R. Moehringer. Reliable sources close to the prince revealed that Penguin Random House is eying a December release of the book.
The idea is to have the memoir written by the high-ranking member of the British royal family on the bookshelves just in time for the holidays.
However, there is a possibility that might not happen. According to multiple royal sources and publishing insiders, Prince Harry is having a tough time giving the green light for the book to be printed and shipped to retailers.
Meghan Markle‘s husband, who has been paid $20 million for the juicy book, is now afraid that the chapters might be too juicy.
Indeed, Prince Harry fears that his words, his revelations, and intimate stories about his life will start another war with his family, including Prince Charles and Prince William.
Prince Harry is “sick with worry” about the possibility of “a new war with the royals,” according to a royal source.
However, privately, Markle has intervened to convince Prince Harry to share his truths — all of it, no matter the cost or consequences.
The insider, who spoke to Heat magazine, explained: “Meghan is urging him to tell his truth and not hide what really happened while he struggles with what to include.”
They added that Prince Harry keeps adding and removing passages, and he struggles with panic episodes as he tries to figure out how much he should reveal to the world.
The person claimed: “Every passage is being revised again and again. Harry keeps remembering new things he wants to include and then suddenly panics about toning down certain anecdotes.”
Royals on the other side of the Atlantic are panicking because they fear the book will destroy the famous family.
A source recently revealed to the Mirror that the thought of the book has sparked a “tsunami of fear” in royal circles and added: “Ever since leaving royal life, Harry and Meghan have made claim after claim of how they allege they have been treated. They say that it is their truth, but there is only ever one truth. Since their interview with Oprah Winfrey, tensions have been running very high as much of what they said has since been proven to be unreliable at best.”
The royal insider claimed: “There is a now tsunami of fear among the royals over what Harry will write. Many hope he may correct a few things but do not hold much hope.”
Prince Charles is said to be dreading the book might contain embarrassing revelations about his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles.
Prince William might have his private childhood struggles exposed to the world. Prince Harry has only spoken about the book to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Reports claimed he would go out of his way to praise and celebrate the Queen in the memoir.
