Paris Hilton, who is a longtime friend of Spears, recently did an interview where she confirmed the chatter that has been spreading on the Internet.
For weeks there were unconfirmed reports that Spears went back to the studio with legendary British singer Sir Elton John.
Parish Hilton revealed that Britney Spears did indeed collaborate with Elton John to revamp his classic hit song “Tiny Dancer,” which was released in 1972.
The former reality TV star did an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying she is one of the first people to have heard the track, which is incredible.
Paris Hilton spilled Spears’s sweet secret by saying: “It’s gonna be iconic. I just heard it a couple days ago in Ibiza, and it is… it’s insane.”
The new version of the song is a collaboration between Spears, John, and producer Andrew Watts.
Music lovers and experts predict it will be a smashing hit like John’s entitled “Cold Heart” with Dua Lipa.
The smooth, sexy and dreamy song has Lipa whispering as a mixture of beats taken from Elton’s “Rocket Man,” “Sacrifice,” “Kiss the Bride,” and “Where’s the Shoorah?” play in the background.
As always, Elton’s voice is uplifting and soothing and matches perfectly with Lipa.
The amazing remix was put together by Pnau. Hilton’s enthusiastic description of “Tiny Dancer’s remix” seems to hint that Elton and Spears did magic together.
The duet will be released in September of this year via Universal Music.
This is Spears’s first musical project since being freed from her 13-year conservatorship that was put in place against her will by her father, Jamie Spears.
It has been six years since Spears’s last album, Glory, was released.
In a heartbreaking message, the pop princess said her father, Jamie Spears, found many ways to “ruin music” for her.
She went on to explain that she was forced to quit music as a way to fight back against her controlling father and to tell him “f**k you.”
Spears has been posting the color red on her Instagram in the past few weeks, and some fans believe that she will call her next album just that “RED.”
Spears has also hinted that she has some special and unheard remixes of her own songs that she wants the world to discover.
