A reliable source close to Kardashian says she has done everything in her power to keep the steamy romance going strong, but it has not been easy.
The person familiar with the situation revealed to PEOPLE: “The long-distance hasn’t been easy for Kim, but they are making it work.”
The insider claimed Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have relied on technology, including lots of Facetime, to keep the flame of love burning.
Last month, she even traveled to Australia for a mini-romantic vacation with the funny man. However, after all has been said in done, Kardashian is a woman in love who wants her lover to come home.
This week, she received the happy news that she had been hoping for; Davidson would be back in the United States by the end of August.
The source, who spoke to the media outlet, revealed that Kardashian is beyond excited by the development.
The insider claimed: “Kim loved visiting Pete in Australia in July. They had been apart for several weeks, and they enjoyed a long weekend together. Pete is still filming but will be finished now in August. He has another project in the U.S., though, so he will continue to be busy. She is just excited that he will be back in the U.S. soon.”
In June, a source told PEOPLE that Kardashian made sure to spend a maximum of time with Davidson because she was aware that they would be separated for a lengthy period.
The person shared: “It’s their first summer as a couple, and they are having a blast. Pete has an intense work schedule starting later this summer, [so] they are trying to enjoy as much [time together] as possible right now.”
The TV veteran has been able to make the best of her summer by traveling with her children, sisters, and nieces.
Kardashian, a fitness enthusiast, has also been shedding the pounds and going for an athlete’s body, according to a video she released on Wednesday.
Kim Kardashian has also been busy pushing Kanye West‘s brand. Taking to her Instagram page, Kardashian and daughters North and Chicago modeled West’s upcoming YEEZY SHDZ.
After all the drama between the pair, many are happy to see that they are in a better place where Kardashian can be supportive and show some love to her former husband.
This is even enough for some supporters to hope for a reconciliation.
