Kardashian also announced the not-so-surprising news when Davidson is thousands of miles away from the United stated.
A reliable source that spoke to E! News revealed that the pair decided to go their separate ways this week.
Kim Kardashian is in California running her numerous companies while the former Saturday Night Live star is filming a new movie in Australia.
Davidson is expected to return to New York later this month. The source, who revealed the breakup, claimed that Kardashian wants to remain friends with her ex-boyfriend.
The person also gave the reason for the demise of the steamy romance. Kim Kardashian, 41, a billionaire mogul and a mother of four, is exhausted.
The insider said that Kardashian and Davidson are not on the same page; they are not even reading the same book.
Davidson is dreaming of marriage and having a child. Kardashian has three marriages under her belt and companies to manage, brands to promote, and a reality TV show to sell.
The source claimed: “Pete is 28, and Kim is 41 — they are just in very different places at the moment.”
Another source told Page Six that the relationship was never easy because of Davidson’s fun and spontaneous side.
The source told the media outlet: “Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids, and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids. Kim, who runs multiple businesses and stars on a reality show — was totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life.”
Oddly enough, a Kim Kardashian source gave a positive update on her relationship with Kanye West.
The duo has been going through a nasty divorce and custody battle but is now in a better place and is co-parenting well.
The source told Us Weekly: “Kim and Kanye have been co-parenting very well as of late. They are very civil with each other right now, and there are no issues. They are both treating each other with mutual respect.”
